7 Reasons to be encouraged from Romans 8….
1. No CONDEMNATION
verse 1-2 “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, 2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death.”
2. No INTIMIDATION
verse 15 “The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you LIVE IN FEAR again;”
1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.”
2 Timothy 1:7 “God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of love power and a sound mind”
3. No COMPARISON
verse 18 “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
John 16:33 “in this world you will have trouble…”
Psalm 30:5 “Sorrows may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning.”
4. No LIMITATIONS

Insecure
3 things about insecurities…
1. You will never BE right until you SEE right.
Romans 12:3 “Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.”
2. When I SEE who God is, He will SHOW me who I am
Mark 10:46-52 MSG “As Jesus was leaving town, trailed by his disciples and a parade of people, a blind beggar by the name of Bartimaeus, son of Timaeus, was sitting alongside the road. When he heard that Jesus the Nazarene was passing by, he began to cry out, “Son of David, Jesus! Mercy, have mercy on me!” Many tried to hush him up, but he yelled all the louder, “Son of David! Mercy, have mercy on me!” 49-50 Jesus stopped in his tracks. “Call him over.” They called him. “It’s your lucky day! Get up! He’s calling you to come!” Throwing off his coat, he was on his feet at once and came to Jesus. 51 Jesus said, “What can I do for you?” The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.” 52 “On your way,” said Jesus. “Your faith has saved and healed you.” In that very instant he recovered his sight and followed Jesus down the road.”
