All In 2022: Eternal Mindset

ALL IN
Part 1
Eternal Mindset

Luke 12:16-21 ““The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ 18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ 20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ 21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

3 MINDSETS that change when we are ALL IN for the eternal.

1. Think like a MANAGER not an OWNER.

I Corinthians 6:20YOU ARE NOT YOUR OWN; you were bought at a price.”

Psalm 24:1 “The earth is the Lords and everything in it”
James 1:17 “every good and perfect gift comes from above”

2. Think like a FARMER not a CONSUMER

2 Corinthians 9:10-12 “Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness. 11 You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. 12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.

A. He supplies BREAD:

verse 10 “he supplies bread for food.”

B. He supplies SEED.

verse 10 “He supplies seed to the sower.”

2 Corinthians 9:11 “You will be enriched in EVERY WAY… so that you can be generous”

3. Think on the ETERNAL not the TEMPORAL

James 4:14 “Your life on this earth is just a mist, it’s a moment that appears and then it's gone. But your next life is forever. It’s infinite. It goes on and on and on.”

2 different kind of accounts

a. The Great White Throne Judgement:

b. The Judgement Seat of Christ:

2 Corinthians 5:10 “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the THINGS DONE while IN THE BODY, whether good or bad.”

I Corinthians 3:12-15 “If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13 their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14 If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15 If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.”

Mark 12:30-31 “ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”

John 14:6–9 (NIV84)
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 7 If you really knew me, you would know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”
8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”
9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?
